We are now Evidence Based!

BUZ programs are now officially evidence based and aligned with the Australian Curriculum.

The 2017 30th ACHPER International Conference attracted high quality keynote speakers from overseas and Australia. It was a showcase of contemporary and future focused ideas and attended by 370 health and physical education professionals representing those working in many areas of health, sports and other industry stakeholders.

The theme of the conference was Participation in an Active and Healthy Life: Valuing the Participant Voice and the sub-themes aligned to the five propositions in the Australian Curriculum: Health and Physical Education. (Focus on educative purposes; take a strengths-based approach; value movement; develop health literacy; and include a critical inquiry approach.) Website: www.achper2017.com
