BUZ Staff

A dedicated team passionate about empowering hope in children

Melissa (Mim) Stephens
Training and School Programs Co-ordinator

I have always enjoyed being around children and working with them. After my own children started school I studied to become an Education Support Worker and specialized in Special Needs. While working in schools I gravitated to children who needed ‘building up’, I could see the missing link to their academic success was their social and emotional wellbeing. I love working at BUZ and seeing children transform during camps and school programs. It is an honour to contribute to the wellbeing of a child and their community.

Lisa Farrell
Camps and School Programs

My passion for working with children began as a teenager when I worked at an out of school program during the holidays in Dunsborough.

I love children- their inquisitive natures and energy make my job incredibly fun and rewarding.

I have worked as a mentor, leader and support person with children. I have worked and travelled all over the world and currently train community services in the south west.

I believe that life is not so much about what you have, but more so, who you are. I feel privileged to be involved in the process of mentoring children to be equipped for their journeys in whom they are becoming.
BUZ offers incredible tools to support each individual in their pursuit to living a fulfilling life.
